2015 Canadian Grand Prix
5-7 Jun 2015
F1 makes its return to the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in
picturesque Parc Jean-Drapeau just inside the borders of Montreal.
Laid out around the perimeter of an island on the St. Lawrence Seaway, this Montreal landmark was originally the home to the 1967 International and Universal Exposition (Worlds Fair).
Quebec’s prodigy Gilles Villeneuve won the inaugural race in 1978, which is now the home to Canadian
Formula 1 racing. With a combination of long high speed sections and hard braking into its hairpin and chicanes, Montreal is tough on breaks but popular with the F1 Community.
